Profiles and retained official sources for Benn Huang’s Chatbox Community Edition, an individually attributed AI conversation client for reviewable shop notices and customer replies. Current team size, legal operator and controlling ownership remain unknown.
Benn Huang's public GitHub profile is an individual User account, and the fixed Community Edition package names bennhuang as author. The earlier Bin-Huang repository entry resolves to the current Chatbox repository. This establishes a documented individual author relationship, without certifying current company size or control. The profile covers an AI conversation client using a selected provider and complete official web renderer, with original small-shop notice and customer-reply cases. Web RAG, MCP, agent mode, skills and paid Pro Work Mode are outside that pilot. Current team size, legal operating entity and controlling ownership remain unknown; the website copyright footer alone does not establish those facts.
Chatbox Community Edition is an open-source AI conversation client attributed to individual author Benn Huang. A person, creator or small shop can connect a chosen model, keep separate conversations, turn supplied rules into a clear announcement, draft a customer reply and export the conversation for review. The client provides the interface and model settings; the connected model produces the answer. Two original small-shop text cases completed in the full fixed-source web renderer using Qwen2.5-Coder-1.5B-Instruct Q4_K_M, with one actual backend generation and the first native Markdown export retained for each case. Both cases failed their original conditions: the pickup draft omitted a discount rule and reversed dates in its review checklist; the ceramic reply made unsupported food-contact, dishwasher and delivery guarantees. These results apply only to that recorded configuration. Current team size, legal operating entity and controlling ownership are unknown. Web RAG, MCP, agent mode, skills and paid Pro Work Mode were excluded.
