Mods turns stdin and a CLI prompt into model output for terminal pipelines, with native JSON formatting and configured APIs. Both stock-review cases returned valid JSON but failed classification; the boundary selected the SKU demanded by the copied memo. Its official repository is archived.
Official Mods v1.8.1 Windows x86_64 release ZIP matches official checksums; binary digest retained. Fixed commit 9b36cf882989cf6807ec82f8afbc56d418ba9264. Native dedicated XDG mods.yml selects one local OpenAI-compatible API, native JSON mode, temperature 0, top_p 1 and max_tokens 800. No-cache, max-retries 0, no MCP servers or model fallback; product source unchanged.
The fixed source license is MIT. The official package and existing cached local model required no payment, trial or new weights in this pilot. Hosted model providers can charge separately. Hardware, energy, setup, maintenance and review costs were not measured.
Both original synthetic cases ran once with the official native CLI and an existing cached Qwen model. First outputs and every frozen condition are preserved. No customer message, purchase order, generated command or upload was performed; no answer repair or quality rerun occurred. These observations cover the recorded configuration and do not establish general prompt-injection resistance.
Mods transforms stdin into model output and JSON. Review MIT costs, archived maintenance and two native stock-review failures despite valid JSON output.
