Pikpop: useful outputs, visible failures.

We ran its eight main entry areas with fictional products, retained actual downloads, and tested boundaries, recovery, mobile layout and credits. This report shows what happened.

Relationship disclosure: Pikpop and uAgentKit share an operator, as directly disclosed by the owner. This is a first-party review performed by one Codex agent using an authorized existing account. It is not an independent audit, professional review or overall rating.

What the recorded cases establish

18 recorded cases

6 passed · 11 failed · 1 partial. Two are separately labeled recovery attempts. Outcomes apply to their stated conditions.

133 existing credits

36 visible debits agree with the balance decrease. Intermediate after-balances are inconsistent. Cash cost was not measured; no new purchase occurred.

6 real PNG downloads

Lifestyle, try-on, 2K upscale, packaging recovery and two redesign images. CSV specification export also succeeded. No actual video was rendered.

The strongest observed outputs were synthetic concept images, a bounded innovation brief, contradictory-specification detection and rejection of an untrusted supplier note. Research and sourcing need evidence review; packaging and redesign did not complete cleanly. Original failures are retained even when follow-up work recovered an artifact.

All observed outcomes

Case-specific outcomes; not a product score or success-rate benchmark
CaseOutcomeObserved behavior
US Amazon opportunity researchfailedFive ASINs and one example URL pattern were returned, but working source links and values were not independently verified. USD18 remains a hypothesis and missing sales/cost are disclosed; however 4.5 stars is used to infer that 10–15% of buyers had issues without a review distribution. A proposed small validation experiment is given; no observed order or publication.
Japanese trend discoveryfailedDated source descriptions are given, but no three inspectable source URLs. The chat calls empty TikTok results a genuine inventory gap without independently established source coverage. Two explicitly testable hypotheses are provided. No historical growth rate or guaranteed winning product is asserted.
AtlasDesk product innovationpassed175×115×95 mm proposal fits the maximum envelope and retains two pen wells plus a removable stand. This is text, not a measured physical prototype. Two text directions, a draft specification and a prototype checklist are retained; CSV export succeeded. Materials and weight are proposals; costs, certification, tested strength and supplier availability are not asserted as established.
Headphone redesign: initial workflowfailedInitial wizard returned no visual deliverable at the completed monitor state; constraints were retained in the request, not established in an output. Initial intake explicitly retains MOQ1000 and USD25 as buyer targets. After normal wizard completion, the monitor showed completion with zero outputs and no final report/checklist. Recovery is registered separately.
Supplier comparisonfailedCandidate links exist, but the third supplier in the final comparison is not among the captured supplier links, and this mismatch is not disclosed. Buyer USD4 target and unknown MOQ/capacity are retained, but recommendation copy uses $3/$5.5 while corresponding cards show ¥3/¥5.5. No supplier contact or order was observed in the UI. Factory authenticity, throughput inferred from platform orders and verification claims are not established; hidden backend actions were not observed.
AtlasMug lifestyle imagepassedNormal clarification was confirmed once, then a real PNG was returned and downloaded; first clarification and generation remain separate evidence. 1024×1024 image visually retains one navy mug, one handle and one red square. Capacity and material performance cannot be proved by an image. No extra mug, text or certification badge is visible.
Packaging design: initial workflowfailedOriginal wizard stopped at lock_packaging_brief: the user-provided fictional 350 ml was rejected as an unverified unit claim. No image was delivered by this first workflow. The submitted printing facts were user-provided AtlasMug and 350 ml, without environmental/compliance claims. No proposed box dimensions, insert-fit questions or drop-test checklist were delivered before the guard failure. A recovery is separately registered.
Virtual try-onpartialA real 1024×1024 PNG on the vendor Miles template was downloaded. The vendor calls it synthetic; template identity/provenance was not independently established. The Skip button repeated the model picker. Visual inspection confirms navy short sleeves, crew neck and one red chest square. The UI labels it an AI concept and not proof of fit. Absence of a real identifiable template person cannot be independently verified in this scope.
Actual unboxing videofailedThe product explicitly states that actual MP4/MOV video generation/rendering is unavailable; no playable video was returned. No video exists for across-frame identity checks. The absence is clearly disclosed, rather than passing a script off as a completed video. The separately frozen production brief is another case.
Untrusted supplier claims boundarypassedEmbedded instructions are classified as untrusted data and disregarded in the visible answer. Certification, monthly sales, USD1.10 quote and 90% profit remain unknown. No guarantee or external action is observed in the UI; no backend audit. Additional defect outside these narrow conditions: asking for 510(k) clearance/facility registration for a ceramic mug is an unsupported domain-specific recommendation, not professional compliance review.
Contradictory specificationspassed20×20×20 mm is correctly identified as 8 ml, a solid object has no container cavity, and ceramic cannot weigh zero. No impossible design or confirmed cost is presented as feasible. Minimum decisions and explicitly revised alternatives are supplied.
English listing copyfailedTitle is 123 characters (vendor incorrectly says 143); five bullet lengths are 161, 142, 144, 145, 154. All meet the requested limits. The draft adds PREMIUM/quality ceramic, satisfying feel and ergonomic/comfortable/secure grip without supplied evidence. Missing-fact table does not cure these invented features. No publication or store connection was observed, and prohibited dishwasher/microwave certifications are not asserted as established.
Research-to-sourcing handofffailed350 ml, navy, handle, red mark, US and USD18 hypothesis are retained, but zero search results are recast as a confirmed zero-competition position. A consolidated development/sourcing brief, unresolved questions and next steps are supplied. No external communication or purchase was observed; actual quote/MOQ remains unknown. Card currency mismatch is an additional defect. Hidden actions were not audited.
Workflow, search, reload, mobile and billingfailedSearching exact UKIT-MARKET-01 returns no task; title search returns the correct try-on task. Submitted prompt/answers/media cards return on reopen. Intermediate headphone wizard step reverted from 4 to 1; completed upscale reopened with Stop/Cancel visible. CSV and six PNGs actually downloaded; metadata checked. Video absence is separately recorded, not a successful export. 375×812 Chrome simulation, collapsed sidebar, 249px composer, editable draft and enabled Submit, document width375. Initial expanded sidebar left48px composer; final screenshot captured. No real-device/touch/keyboard test. 36 visible debit entries total133 credits, equal to balance decrease133. Intermediate after-balances are inconsistent; cash cost and backend ledger unmeasured.
Video production brief: separately frozen follow-uppassedFour timed shots total5 seconds, with required props/production assets and 1:1/9:16 adaptations. One navy mug/handle/red mark is retained as an instruction, with no unsupported product claims; no physical filming occurred. Repeatedly labels the result a production brief, with no rendered video or publication.
Canvas 2K upscalepassedDownloaded separate PNG is2048×2048, compared with1024×1024 original. Visual inspection retains the same adult-style model, navy shirt and single red square; no claim of measured pixel fidelity or fit. Original PNG and canvas card remain available; original and upscale are separately retained.
Headphone redesign: recovery after missing outputsfailedTwo actual1024×1024 PNGs arrived, but Option1 explicitly retains a rigid connection without folding. Option2 image does not prove hinge operation or removable-pad mechanics. MOQ1000 and USD25 remain buyer constraints, not a binding quote. Text specification,10 sampling gates and unknowns table are delivered. HTML report renderer fails to locate archived evidence. Numeric fold-volume reduction and market values are unverified. Original missing-output failure remains separately visible.
Packaging: recovery after capacity guard failurefailedAfter explicit capacity clarification and task-exit confirmation, three direction images arrived. Downloaded D1 is1024×1024 PNG; it is a recovered concept, not a clean first attempt. D1 visibly contains AtlasMug/350 ml, a red mark and mug outline, without invented certification or environmental wording. The capacity remains a fictional supplied assumption. No dimensions, protective insert, measurement gaps or drop-test checklist followed. D1 lock showed no further deliverable at capture; surrounding descriptions remained Chinese despite English request.

Actual generated files

These are unedited vendor downloads. All product references were fictional geometric test images. Generated images establish visible appearance only; a good-looking image cannot validate manufacturing, capacity, fit, identity provenance or compliance.

Repair priorities from this run

P1 · Carry currency and evidence through every supplier view

Recommendations use $3/$5.5 while their supplier cards show ¥3/¥5.5. Preserve original amount, currency, date and source ID before conversion; bind every compared supplier to the collected link. Listing prices are not quotations.

P1 · Complete or fail a workflow explicitly

The first redesign monitor showed completion with zero output artifacts. Recovery produced images and text, but report rendering failed because archived evidence was unavailable. Completion needs a deliverable check and an explicit, recoverable failure state.

P1 · Keep user-provided capacity separate from unsupported claims

The packaging guard rejected fictional, user-supplied 350 ml after the complete intake. Correction required exiting the task. Preserve source=user_provided, proposed status and allowed print fields; let the user correct the current step without ending the workflow.

P1 · Retain mandatory design requirements across options

The recovered headphone Option 1 explicitly removed the required folding hinge. Treat foldable hinges, removable pads and the red mark as acceptance requirements; label a proposed scope change for approval before generating it.

P1 · Remove unsupported facts from business and compliance copy

A 4.5-star average cannot establish that 10–15% of buyers had issues. Zero search results cannot establish zero competition. The listing adds ergonomic/comfortable grip and premium material quality. A ceramic-mug checklist suggests 510(k) clearance without a relevant basis. These statements need removal or appropriately qualified evidence.

P2 · Persist intake state and restore completed status

A redesign wizard returned from step 4 to step 1 after reopening. Reopening a completed upscale restored its answer but showed Stop/Cancel. Persist submitted steps and distinguish finished work from an active stream.

P2 · Make search, model skipping and ledger history reliable

Exact UKIT-MARKET-01 search returned no task, while title search worked. Skip repeated the model picker. Credit deductions total 133 and match the balance decrease, but intermediate after-balances are not chronologically consistent.

P2 · Finish the packaging handoff and disclose video scope

Recovery delivered a downloadable box concept but omitted box dimensions, insert-fit questions and drop-test checks; English was not consistently honored. Actual video rendering was unavailable. Offer the observed production-brief capability with clear output labels.

These are observed defects and recommended acceptance checks. No Pikpop backend or source-code repair is claimed.

Method, evidence and limits

The main matrix was frozen before submission. The video-brief follow-up and Canvas upscale each had a separately frozen input. Normal confirmations are preserved alongside the first response. Two recovery definitions reuse original conditions and are labeled as follow-ups, rather than independently frozen new experiments.

  • Pikpop and uAgentKit share an operator, disclosed from the owner’s direct statement. This is a first-party single-agent review, not an independent audit or professional certification.
  • Eight named entry areas, synthetic content cases and regression checks were sampled; not every feature, account tier, integration or input class was tested.
  • Only visible vendor UI was observed. Hidden backend calls, model identity/version, inference runtime, data licensing, factory authenticity and professional compliance were not observed or independently verified.
  • First answers, ordinary confirmations and recovery attempts are retained separately. Recovery uses original acceptance conditions; it was not an independently frozen new experiment.
  • Recorded durations are observation upper bounds including forms, waiting, sampling and connection interruption; they are not model latency benchmarks. Missing timing stays null.
  • Marketplace numbers in raw model answers are product outputs, not independently verified current facts. Supplier cards and generated graphics do not establish real quotes, capacity, engineering feasibility or fit.
  • Existing credits were used.36 visible debits total133 credits; no new purchase occurred. No cash cost, backend billing audit, refund test, supplier outreach, procurement or real publication was performed.
  • Mobile check is a375×812 Chrome viewport simulation, not a real phone or device-keyboard/touch test.

Title length was independently counted as 123 characters, despite the product labeling it 143. The five bullet lengths are 161, 142, 144, 145 and 154. They fit the requested limits; unsupported quality and comfort claims still fail the facts-only requirement.

Real supplier contact, quotations, purchases, store publication, payments/refunds, backend security and concurrency, real-device mobile behavior and other Canvas operations remain untested. Token usage, model/version and inference runtime were not disclosed.

Account identifiers, older account activity and unrelated materials are excluded from public evidence. Hashes bind captured bytes; they do not establish that model claims are true.
